Sometime in the late ’70s, Curtis Schnell fled his ever-raining home state of Washington for the sparkly lights of Hollywood. A collection of University of Washington degrees (music, drama, education and design) and a knack for making rooms look pretty landed him a job in the film biz as a set designer.
Ever since, his name has perched itself somewhere in the credits of many popular shows and movies. Schnell migrated into restaurant country with the first Noé in L.A. He then designed the Noé in Houston. Omni Hotels, Gadsby and Schnell’s third collaboration soon followed with 676.
